Orbital Strike VR is a space combat simulator built from the ground up for VR. This is indie VR so we can take some risks. Instead of a cockpit we launch you directly right out of the carrier and into beautiful fleet battles with intuitive hand-jet flight mechanics.
You will progress through a story-rich campaign that can be played as a single-player adventure or you can invite your friends at any time for some co-op action. As a pilot for the Starfall fleet, you will serve as a hybrid role of fighter ace and forward observer. Close with the enemy and open a path for your fleet using a mixture of personal weapons to destroy corvettes, fighter escorts, turrets, and sub-systems. Then call in the your own capital ships, configure them on the fly, and command them against your enemy. New pilots can expect a thrilling mix of space flight sim, first-person-shooter, and tactical RTS. All wrapped up in an immersive VR experience with great drop-in co-op support.
Orbital Strike VR supports all the expected comfort and locomotion options with teleporting, smooth locomotion, snap rotation, smooth rotation (with sub-options for snap amounts and rotation speeds), and comfort vignettes. Players can play seated, standing, or within their play area. There's also smooth and third-person external cameras available for audiences and recording gameplay.
We're a two-person indie team working hard to bring fun and unique multiplayer experiences to the VR community. Come join our Discord via the links up on the right panel to help shape Orbital Strike VR and future titles.
