On a street so lonely, in a town so quiet, stands a mall no more, but a place for the old and unwanted, in plain sight to all, but very few enthralled.
Yet in this dimness, a strange sight does appear, the building's windows aglow, as if to cheer, amidst the darkness, they shine so clear, a beacon of hope, dispelling fear.
When night is broken, the end is awoken, but until then, don't run too fast, don't be too rash, Or your demise might arise. That, I am certain.
Horror Cartridge Collection is a series of short form horror games in the PSX style, with each game (Cartridge) offering a unique experience with different gameplay mechanics, styles and stories all connected by the mall.
Out Of Gas
Your car has just run out of gas in the middle of nowhere. A sign tells you a gas station is only two miles up the road. Make your way to it on foot.
Nightmare
You are a young child who has woken up in the middle of the night after hearing a sound coming from downstairs. Investigate the sound and remember, don't panic.
The Mine
The sun has set, it's time to descend into the mine in search of riches. Take your trusty pickaxe and lantern in the exploration for ore and other treasures.
Warehouse 14
It's 2am and you have just scaled the wall to get into a warehouse park. A friend told you one of the warehouses is storing something valuable, find warehouse 14, break in and steal what's inside.
M.A.D
It's the height of the Cold War and the launch order has just been sent. Take control of your launch control center and perform your duty to your country.
Santa's Workshop
It's Christmas eve and all the toys have been assembled, but now they need to be packaged and put into Santa's bag for delivery. You are a freshly hired elf tasked with taking the assembled toys and packaging them ready for children to open on Christmas day, work fast, midnight is approaching.
Eternal Storage
You have just purchased an abandoned storage unit and have arrived at the facility to clear it out, find the unit and start clearing out all the junk, keep your eye out for anything that looks valuable, you never know what you might find.
Resolve Your Fate
A mysterious book has been left at the door, but beware the power that's held inside. Can you overcome the curse and free yourself? Or will you succumb and meet your fate.
Long Barrow
Four to be laid to rest. Take them to the long barrow and find a spot inside for each one. Get it done quick before the sun goes down, the dead don’t like to be disturbed at night. And be wary of speaking to the dead, they may answer you back.
