"Midnight Report" is a rogue-lite 3D survival horror game in which a student (the protagonist) who is having hallucinations while staying up all night writing a report struggles to escape from the hallucinations filled with terrifying monsters. Players use items and gimmicks to overcome threats and aim to escape from the randomly generated fantasy world with their friends.
You control the protagonist from a first-person perspective. The main actions are "walking/running/sprinting/crouching/interacting/commanding to open/close doors/obtain items."
According to the protagonist, who is in a hurry about something, it is the night before he is to submit his report assignment. "I just moved, and most of the cardboard boxes are still unopened..." Even if he had explained the move to his teacher, anyone would easily suspect that his impatience was simply due to a lack of planning. However, the truth is known only to him or to those who truly know him. "I should have started earlier..." There's no point in regretting this on the eve of the deadline, so he decides to stay up all night working on his report assignment, but...
