Sotidrokhima is a story-driven top-down hack-and-slash game with first-person elements. Set in mid-13th century Finland, the eponymous folk hero must rise against oppressors from across the sea to save his people, while dealing with a personal vendetta as well as his own mysterious heritage.

13th century AD - LANDS OF THE FINNISH TRIBES, IN MODERN-DAY FINLAND Many have tried, yet equally many have failed. The lands of the Finnish tribes in the far north are hard to conquer, but under the pretext of spreading Christianity among pagans, the neighboring Swedes aim to invade. When the old gods are threatened and the old believers face suppression and death, the tribesmen rise up for their homeland. But against such a powerful foe, ordinary warriors may not be enough. People need heroes... ...heroes, like Sotidrokhima! But while the Swedish invasion seems imminent, ancient powers are simultaneously lifting their heads in the deep reaches of the land, waiting to instill their power and fury on their ancestral domains once more... Sotidrokhima is a story-driven hack-and-slash with simple character progression. As the titular folk-hero from Karelia, Finland, you must fight your way through hordes of enemies using anything from sword to bows to javelins - and renowned weapons of the Finnish gods themselves.
