No other control schemes are intended to work, as one of the core concepts of the game is that it requires a mouse. It's like a shooter of old, with the interface of an equally old point-n-click. You are a top-class agent fighting in a war against evil enemy forces, who seek world domination and the complete destruction of all who oppose them. In your life-or-death journeys of fierce battle against these enemy forces you have only ~1 ally by your side, your mouse, and with it you must succeed.
