"That choice will change the fate of you and the girl."
—On the shrine path swirling with strange phenomena, every step you take with the girl will be put to the test—
Yaei Shrine is a Japanese-style horror adventure where the player guides a shrine maiden-clad girl toward a mysterious mountain shrine plagued by unsettling disturbances.
Eerie sounds, sudden presences, and things that shouldn't exist… As you walk alongside the girl, the boundary between the real world and the otherworld begins to blur.
Your decisions will determine the girl's fate.
A girl in a shrine maiden outfit can no longer reach the shrine at the mountain summit due to an evil presence in the air. Guide her to the top. If something strange happens, take the left path. If nothing happens, take the right path. Lead her safely to the summit shrine.
This game is inspired by titles like Exit 8 and follows the same style. There are two difficulty levels: Normal and Hard.
(At first, we recommend playing on Normal. Even Normal can still be difficult.) Estimated playtime is between 15 to 60 minutes.
Regardless of difficulty, clearing the game will unlock additional content.
There are very few horror elements. Even players who aren’t fond of horror should be able to enjoy the game without worry. Take your time and see if you can spot the anomalies.
