The plot of the game takes place in an alternate universe. Humanity has gone far in development and is capable of interstellar flights and thus colonized many planets in the galaxy. There are three main factions in the galaxy.

The plot of the game begins with the fact that you are part of the Federation expedition to the controversial planet Nibiru in the laboratory of the “blue” Federation, but there is a crash of the planet's spaceship and you are still captured in a time loop, where every certain time there is an explosion in the laboratory, which kills all around, while the laboratory is drawn into a civil war between the “red” workers under the protectorate of the Empire and the local “green” colonists of the Confederation. And an imperial cruiser has also been spotted in orbit. The local semi-wild aliens will not be left out.
