Every enemy in the game has a 'Shining Variant' that has a 1 in 10 chance of appearing instead of the standard version! These Shining Variants are nothing to mess around with, with greatly boosted stats and double the HP, they'll always be a formidable foe! Though defeating them grants 3 times the XP, Coins, items, and always yields a Shining Coin which can be used to activate many secrets throughout the game!
