History of the game development

The Death Ring was meant to be the third game in a series of experimental shoot 'em up games, after Bloody Walls and DED. The game prototype was developed back in 2017. In the course of testing various elements of the game mechanics I failed to create a game that would be interesting and captivating, which led to the project suspension. After the popular Vampire Survivors game was released, I finally realized in what way Death Ring should be modified, so roguelike elements were introduced and the fire control option was eliminated. Five years have passed since then, and the game is finally going to enter its early access phase.
