Games Like Blind Man's Sun

About Blind Man's Sun

Blind Man's Sun is a visual novel in the genres of “psychological horror” and “mystical detective”.

Plot

Look, let’s cut to the chase.

My name’s Jack. I’m 42 years old, and my life is a goddamn circus on wheels.

A car wreck took my eyes. Optic nerve atrophy. Turns out it’s actually possible to hit your head so hard your brain just decides to kill off the nerves. The doctors just shrugged - said it’s terminal and told me to get a seeing-eye dog.

But the docs were wrong.

Then she showed up.

Iris.

A powerhouse of a spirit with an attitude that makes my ex-mother-in-law look like a saint.

She brought back my sight - or rather, let me borrow her eyes for a spin. Not for free, obviously. Ghosts are greedy little bastards. Now Iris can pull my strings. But she isn’t just watching me - she sees you, too.

She calls the shots on when you save, when you quit, and when you jump out of your skin. Keep that in mind.

Key Features

•

A Protagonist Who Doesn’t Do "Polite." Jack spills his story like he’s three drinks in - crude, honest, a bit whiny, and packed with dirty jokes.

•

Fourth Wall? What Wall? Iris knows you’re here. Achievements, saves, exiting the game - she’s got it all on lockdown. Try to argue, and you’ll feel the pain.

•

Two Visual Styles (Because the Dev Had Too Much Time on His Hands): Choose between "pixelated-whatever" and "tabletop-wanna-be-game." Pick your poison.

•

Ripped Straight from 2000s Dark Comics: Grim, violent, pitch-black humor, and ultimate consequences for being stupid.

•

Short and Sweet: One night is all you need. This isn't one of those 100-hour Japanese visual novel grinds.

•

29 (I Think, I Can’t Really Remember) Achievements: And they aren't just for your collection. They’re part of the deal.
