In this town your legacy is the only thing that matters. When your Reaper falls, their child, sibling or cousin picks up their gear and continues the fight. But be warned, if your entire bloodline is wiped out, all your hard-earned upgrades are gone forever! The stakes aren't just one life, are your entire family tree. Terrible Life Expectancy is a Rogue-Like horror top down shooter with Survivors and Extraction elements where you fight huge hordes of mutants and only inherit your upgrades as long as there are members of your family still alive.

As long as there are members from your family tree still alive you'll inherit all your upgraded gear and keep your progress, but you'll have to start from scratch if your family gets completely anhillilated and choose a new one with different traits for a new run.
