SteamAbout Parlay
Parlay is a roguelike sports betting deckbuilder where you bet big, take risks, and try not to get buried by your bookie.
Build high-stakes parlays across 8 grueling rounds of fictional football, basketball, baseball, and hockey matchups. Each round, make 3 escalating sets of picks — from safe doubles to outrageous 6-leg gambles — all while stacking buffs, tweaking odds, and chasing massive payouts.
You owe money. A lot of it. Win enough to survive each round’s crushing debt… or lose it all and disappear into the bookie's ledger forever.
Features
•
A sports betting roguelike deckbuilder. Every matchup is procedurally generated: win-loss records, home/away dynamics, and oddly named teams like the Atlanta Yams and the San Francisco Startups.
•
Draft buffs after every round. Choose from game-changing perks that improve your odds, boost your payout, or flat out boost your pick's score.
•
Increasing number of picks per round. Start with 2-leg parlays. Finish with 6-leg monsters. One wrong call, and you could walk away with nothing.
•
Limited Buff Slots. Choose wisely — you can’t keep them all. Build your strategy, then risk it all.
•
An ominous bookie. You owe money to the wrong guy. He always collects. And he really doesn't like losers.
Additional Features
•
100+ buff cards to find and stack in powerful combos
•
Fixed odds system that worsens over time — the deeper you go, the higher the risk
•
Strategy-heavy drafting: synergy builds, snowballing payouts, and brutal choices
•
No real sports knowledge needed — only guts, luck, and a thirst for debt-fueled victory
•
A haunting soundtrack to keep your palms sweaty and your bankroll tighter than ever
Can you escape compounding debt with the odds stacked against you?
Or will the bookie break you first?
