This game is always online. We recommend befriending other players along the way to survive together. If you would rather shoot them and take their loot for yourself, you have that option.

Permadeath

Every life is a fresh start. We plan on adding some things that can carry over to the next life, but the core premise will always be that some of your progress dies with the character.

Current Features

•

Infinite world The world is generated as you, or others explore. There is no edge to the universe of Sombie.

•

PvP / PvE Hoards of zombies will chase you if you get near, or make too much noise. You can fight them off with weapons, but beware, shooting brings attention from both players and sombies.

•

Loot In towns you can enter houses and find food, weapons, and ammo.

•

Chat There is both global and local chat. Global broadcasts your message to the entire server. Local lets you communicate only with nearby players.

Planned Features

These things are not yet part of the Sombie universe, but they are on our roadmap and most if not all of these things will be in the game in October when Early Access starts.

•

Skills. You will be able to select skills, your character gets stronger with time.

•

Safe zones. There will be areas where you can store loot and chat with players without being scared of death at any moment.

•

Character selection. You will be able to have more than one character.

•

Regional servers. Currently there is only a server in Europe for early testing.
