About Revolt Homestead

About Revolt Homestead

Revolt Homestead is a design and simulation utility for creating detailed digital models of real world objects and systems. It can be used to model homes, rooms, workshops, appliances, vehicles, tools, equipment, infrastructure, and other physical objects. The goal is to make these objects easier to understand, document, inspect, modify, repair, and share. Revolt Homestead is not intended to function as a traditional game. It is focused on practical modeling, system planning, and technical documentation.

Model Real World Objects

Create three dimensional models of real world spaces, machines, and systems. A project can represent something as simple as a room layout or as complex as a full homestead, appliance, vehicle, workshop, or off grid infrastructure setup. Objects can be organized into parts, assemblies, subassemblies, and systems. This allows a model to represent not only what something looks like, but how it is put together. A house can include rooms, walls, doors, windows, fixtures, electrical components, plumbing routes, appliances, furniture, tools, and infrastructure. A machine can include frames, panels, fasteners, motors, switches, wiring, bearings, gears, connectors, housings, and serviceable parts. A homestead project can include structures, power systems, water systems, storage, vehicles, tools, equipment, and maintenance information.

Inspect Assemblies And Components

Revolt Homestead is designed to support exploded views, assembly breakdowns, and component level inspection. Objects can be separated into individual pieces so users can see how they are assembled. Parts can be inspected, labeled, hidden, isolated, documented, or connected to additional information. This can be used for repair planning, maintenance documentation, fabrication references, educational breakdowns, replacement part tracking, and general system understanding.

Attach Useful Information

Models in Revolt Homestead can be used as containers for practical information. Components may include measurements, material notes, part names, model numbers, replacement information, installation notes, repair instructions, links, files, images, fabrication references, or other data relevant to the object. The purpose is to make the 3D model a usable reference, not just a visual representation.

Plan Systems

Revolt Homestead is intended to support practical system planning for real world environments. Electrical systems can be represented with components such as panels, breakers, batteries, inverters, outlets, switches, wires, lights, solar panels, generators, and powered devices. Plumbing systems can be represented with components such as pipes, tanks, pumps, valves, filters, drains, fixtures, and water storage. Structures can be represented with components such as walls, framing, openings, doors, windows, supports, panels, fasteners, and materials. Other systems may include vehicles, appliances, tools, machines, storage, greenhouse infrastructure, workshop equipment, and other physical assets.

Simulate Practical Behavior

Revolt Homestead is built around the idea that models should be able to represent functional behavior where useful. A system should not only show where parts are located, but also how they relate to each other. Wires can connect components. Pipes can connect water systems. Assemblies can contain serviceable parts. Objects can be grouped into systems that reflect how they work in the real world. The goal is to help users test layouts, understand dependencies, find weak points, plan repairs, and evaluate changes before modifying the real object.

Document What You Own Or Plan To Build

Revolt Homestead can be used to create a digital reference for existing property, equipment, and infrastructure. Users can document their home, workshop, tools, appliances, vehicles, parts, wiring, plumbing, storage, and other systems in one place. It can also be used to plan new builds, repairs, upgrades, installations, and modifications before work begins.

Share Projects

Projects are intended to be shared, modified, and reused. A shared project may include a structure, appliance, machine, system layout, repair reference, vehicle assembly, tiny home, solar setup, water system, greenhouse, workshop, or complete homestead design. Shared models can include geometry, component information, documentation, notes, measurements, files, and system data.

Common Uses

Modeling a home or property. Planning a workshop or utility space. Documenting electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems. Creating exploded views of appliances, tools, vehicles, or machines. Tracking parts and replacement information. Planning repairs or upgrades. Designing off grid infrastructure. Building a reference library for physical systems. Sharing practical designs with other users.

Development Focus

Revolt Homestead is focused on practical modeling and technical organization. The project is being designed around detailed 3D models, object metadata, assembly structure, exploded views, system relationships, simulation layers, documentation, and shareable project files. The long term goal is to provide a utility where users can create, inspect, simulate, and share real world systems in a structured way.
