Welcome to "The Authority," the cosmic organization responsible for managing the life-death cycle of... everything. You are a reaper - technically an employee - tasked with serving Final Notices to immortal entities who refuse to retire on schedule.

As with most jobs, you're expected to learn on the job, break a few things, and file the relevant forms afterward.

Final Notice is a dense, puzzle-like solo deckbuilder where you are encouraged - professionally obligated, even - to lose. Losing reveals weaknesses. Weaknesses become strategies. Strategies become victories you can brag about in the break room.

Battling procedurally generated bosses built from adjective-domain combinations.

Tracking status effects like Banished, Fogged, and Entombed - all of which are definitely covered under your contract. Maybe.

Revising your strategy because your starter deck is about as effective as a stapler against a hurricane.
