"Against Tribulation" is a survivor-like game set in Chinese cultivation culture, featuring auto-battler synergy mechanics.

In the game, players take on the role of a seeker of the immortal path. However, the immortal journey is vast and fraught with countless tribulations. Players must learn and combine divine abilities from different sects to eliminate waves of enemies. Meanwhile, they must always be wary of the trials of the "Three Disasters, Nine Tribulations, and Ten Calamities."

To follow the ordinary path is to remain mortal; to defy it is to become immortal. These are calamities, yet also opportunities for transcendence. Overcome them, and you shall become immortal; fail, and you shall turn to dust.

Sect Divine Abilities

There are 8 sects with 63 divine abilities in total: Yaochi Holy Land, Fire Worship Cult, Lingxiao Pavilion, Yinsha Valley, Xiaoyao Palace, Qingyan Sect, Shenmu Sect, and Sword Pavilion.

Auto-battler Synergy Mechanics

Each sect has its own synergy bonuses, which are unlocked when reaching 2/4/6/8 or 2/4/6/9 abilities of that sect. Whether to focus on mastering the abilities of a single sect or to cultivate a mix of abilities from multiple sects, fellow cultivators must experiment according to actual circumstances to understand the mystery within.

The game features 4 maps: Hundred Flowers Valley, Ten Thousand Demons Valley, Blood-colored Wasteland, and Ancient Burial Ground of Immortals.

Yiyuan Calamity, Liangyi Calamity, Sancai Calamity, Sixiang Calamity, Wuxing Calamity, Liuhe Calamity, Qixing Calamity, Bagua Calamity, Jiugong Calamity, and Wuliang Calamity. In the Ancient Burial Ground of Immortals map, when the character's realm reaches the late stage of Transcending Tribulation, they will undergo the Ten Calamities, with each calamity representing a higher realm.

Heavenly Treasures Chests

Killing enemies may drop Heavenly Treasures Chests, which contain elixirs and spiritual herbs. Choosing the treasures in the chests wisely can help fellow cultivators proceed smoothly on their cultivation journey.

Realms

The character realms in the game are divided into ten major realms: Qi Refining, Foundation Establishment, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Spirit Transformation, Void Refinement, Body Fusion, Mahayana, Tribulation Transcendence, and True Immortal. Each major realm before True Immortal is subdivided into three minor stages: Early, Middle, and Late.

In the Ancient Burial Ground of Immortals map, surviving the Yiyuan Calamity allows one to advance to the First Heaven of True Immortal. After that, each subsequent calamity overcome leads to promotion to the next heaven. The True Immortal realm consists of a total of nine heavens. Finally, surviving the Wuliang Calamity enables one to achieve ultimate sublimation, advance to the final realm, and obtain a unique title!
