STORY

One day, I lost something very dear to me.

A collection of cherished portraits, photographed at various cosplay conventions―in an unfortunate accident, the digital camera with all that data goes kaput.

Witnessing the tragedy, sisters Yua Yamakake and Sana Yamakake say to console me as I wail in sorrow...

“...How about you take some cosplay photos of us?”

I accept. I readily accept.

These sisters are offering to become my very own cosplay models!

Amassing every skill I honed as a dressmaking student and a doll costume designer by passion, I make it my duty to create cosplay outfits for the two.

And as I begin to pick up speed, I get another lucky break.

In a peculiar turn of events, I’m given a ticket to Costalia, an island resort for all things cosplay.

There, I’m certain I’ll snap the greatest photo there ever is.

...What I don’t know is that what awaits me on the island far exceeds my expectations.

The elder Yamakake sister.

Upbeat and vibing like any trendy, modern girl.

Optimistic and cheerful at her core, she’s friendly and outgoing.

Since childhood, she’s looked after her younger sister in place of her working parents, making her a responsible person capable around the house.

With no romantic experience and most of her knowledge coming from gossip amongst her friends, she’s shy and bashful in that area.

Her meeting with Souta, the protagonist, introduces her to cosplay and roleplay. She comes to find enjoyment in acting the part of someone she’s not.

Sana Yamakake

Yuki Kitaooji

The younger Yamakake sister.

A girl whose expression is somewhat difficult to read.

With a calm and carefree personality, her emotions don’t show on her face much, making her seem apathetic at a glance.

She shows little interest in what doesn’t intrigue her, but what she loves, she obsesses deeply over.

A nerdy lover of anime, manga, and related fiction who has no romantic experience.

She’s always enjoyed cosplaying as her favorite character at home, so she’s already fully committed to roleplaying.
