ViRTUE is an immersive Virtual Reality training application for hand hygiene and infection prevention with visualised germ transmission. The Virtual Patient Visit

ViRTUE hand hygiene training takes place in a virtual patient room. You can make mistakes without risk and then analyse them—practising when it is necessary to disinfect your hands to prevent the transmission of germs.

Your actions include greeting patients, taking body temperature, auscultating the heart, and recording measured values. Observe immediately—or review at the end—whether germs have been transmitted during the round.
