Whether you're crafting a compact engine or sprawling across the land, your goal is simple: satisfy the king by making as much gold as possible.

The more advanced your goods, the more gold you'll earn. Process, combine, and upgrade your resources to squeeze every last drop of value from the land around you. Chain your buildings carefully; funnel everything into the Keep and multiply your income with every step.

No two buildings are the same and their effects can ripple across your kingdom in surprising ways. Some produce resources, while others modify their neighbours. To find the strongest strategies, you'll need to combine cards from completely separate production lines. With so many buildings, there's always a new interaction to uncover.

Extra Details

King's Patience:

When the King runs out of patience, your Keep turns to gold and stops upgrading. This determines your final score for that run but you can continue playing and building freely.

Deckbuilding:

Midas isn't a standard deckbuilder. Many cards will be added to your deck passively and your chance to draw a card changes based on whether you've played or discarded it. Instead of carefully controlling your deck, Midas rewards stacking cards, using tools to target-draw what you want, and improvising when luck doesn’t go your way.

Break the Game:

As each upgrade requires exponentially more gold, you'll need to come up with creative strategies if you want to push past the next barrier.
