Story

It’s 21XX and you’re the last gorilla on Earth.

Barely saved by a group of humans and upgraded into a cyborg, you’re trying to take down the evil tech corporation that made your species extinct. Most fruits on Earth have been hoarded by the tech giants to power their datacenters and machines, and have been replaced by a digitally-altered synthetic version called “Neo Fruits”.

Your goal is to follow the trail of Neo Bananas and destroy all of them. Neo fruits are used towards the adventure as weapons and explosives to help you restore the real fruits into the world.

Inspirations

This game is inspired by the BREAK THE TARGET minigame from the older Smash Bros. It is also a spiritual successor to my previous game GOLIATH DEPOT and a love letter to many old school mascot platformers.

Everything is handcrafted: each line of codes is written manually in the Godot Engine, every line of dialogues has been thought by a human, every pixel has been drawn in Aseprite, and every song & sfx has been composed by a musician.
