Combat & Progression Progress through acquiring Essence by defeating creatures. Use Essence to heal, restore mana, and invest in your Gem - the core of  your life and powers. Essence fuels your growth: unlock skill upgrades, increase stats, and prepare for deeper descent.

Gem System & Consequence Your Gem is your source of life. Upon defeat, it drops, you must reclaim it to gain back it's attributes. Without a gem, there is no return. Either invest Essence into a single Gem, or to obtain multiple Gems to safeguard against death. 

When your last Gem drops your journey ends. Every decision carries weight.

Lore-Driven Exploration Scattered fragments found within the caverns reveal the forgotten past - and what threatens the future.
