Games Like Armada Fighters

Armada Fighters is a single-player 3D arcade shoot ’em up combining fast-paced action, permanent progression, equipment management, and score-based competition.

Pilot your ship from an angled top-down perspective and fight through waves of enemies until you reach the boss at the end of each level. Unlike shoot ’em ups with forced scrolling, you control your own progression: move forward, slow down, or retreat to better manage enemies, incoming fire, and environmental hazards.

Early levels last around 2 minutes, while later levels can take up to 10 minutes depending on the selected difficulty and the number of attempts.

Face Varied Enemy Waves

Enemies use several movement patterns, including vertical and horizontal trajectories, parabolic movement, and routes defined by multiple checkpoints.

These behaviours are combined throughout the levels to create varied waves that test your reflexes and positioning.

You must also avoid several environmental hazards:

Each boss is a larger version inspired by one of the game’s standard enemies, with its own movement, projectiles, and attack patterns.

Customize Your Ship

In the garage, you can equip several categories of permanent upgrades at the same time:

Equipment can be upgraded through multiple tiers. Each new tier costs more gold but provides improved statistics.

Permanent equipment can be obtained using gold earned by playing. Optional in-game purchases also allow players to obtain gold packs and speed up progression.

Collect and Manage Bonuses

Enemies and bosses can drop several types of rewards:

Shield, fire-rate, and multi-cannon bonuses activate immediately and remain active for a limited time.

Temporary missiles can be stored without limit in your inventory. Their remaining duration is paused while they are not equipped, allowing you to choose the best moment to use them.

Healing upgrades remain active for the entire current run.

Classic Mode

Classic mode uses the permanent equipment installed in your garage.

Choose your difficulty, access the world map, and begin from any level you have already unlocked. Unlocked levels can be replayed freely to improve your score, earn gold, and upgrade your equipment.

Classic mode allows unlimited retries.

Gold and score earned during a level are only validated after defeating the boss and completing the level. If you are defeated before reaching the end, the rewards from that attempt are lost.

Unlocked levels, validated gold, and permanent equipment remain available permanently. Temporary bonuses and stored missiles are lost if you leave the current run.

Ranked Mode

Ranked mode places every player under the same starting conditions. Permanent garage equipment is disabled, and every Ranked run must begin at level 1.1.

You have five attempts to progress through the levels during a single session.

After five defeats, or if you leave the run, the current Ranked progression ends. Your next attempt will restart from level 1.1.

Temporary bonuses collected during levels remain usable, but purchased or upgraded permanent equipment provides no advantage in this mode.

Improve Your Score

Your score is based on several factors:

The four difficulty levels modify several elements, including enemy numbers, enemy resistance, damage, bonus availability, points awarded, and gold rewards.

Monthly leaderboards are available directly in the game and reset every month. A permanent overall leaderboard is also available through Cosludia.

Missions and Rewards

Complete daily and weekly missions to earn additional gold.

Objectives may include playing Ranked mode, equipping an item, or logging in for several consecutive days.

The first level includes a tutorial covering movement, shooting, and the main in-game bonuses.

Play With or Without an Account

Guest Mode allows you to play without a Cosludia account or an internet connection.

Classic mode and local progression remain available in Guest Mode. Ranked mode, missions, and leaderboards require a connected Cosludia account.
