MAINTAINER

MAINTAINER is a 4-player co-op survival horror game where one player becomes the traitor.

Each match begins at sunrise.

Your crew arrives for another shift, knowing exactly what awaits when the sun goes down. During the day, players explore the map, gather fuel, collect resources, and prepare for the night ahead. Every minute spent preparing can make the difference between surviving until morning or being hunted down before dawn.

The preparation phase is entirely up to the players. Spend more time scavenging and building tools to increase your chances, or skip ahead and face the night sooner. Matches are designed to stay fast, keeping tension high and downtime low.

At sunset, the lighthouse activates.

Keeping it operational becomes the crew's only objective.

Fuel reserves constantly need replenishing. Electrical failures can interrupt critical systems. Fuses may burn out, mechanisms can stop functioning, and repairs have to be completed while the night becomes increasingly dangerous.

But maintaining the lighthouse is only part of the problem.

When the sun sets, one player is randomly selected to become the traitor.

The traitor is revealed immediately. There are no hidden identities, secret voting systems, or accusations. Everyone knows exactly who the threat is.

Once transformed, the traitor abandons their human form and begins hunting the remaining crew.

Survivors cannot kill the traitor.

They can only slow it down, escape from it, and rely on teamwork to stay alive long enough to complete their shift. Communication becomes essential as players share information, coordinate repairs, and warn others about the traitor's location.

Every night becomes a balance between maintenance and survival.

Survivors win by keeping the lighthouse operational until sunrise and escaping by boat once morning arrives.

The traitor wins by eliminating every member of the crew before they can escape.

Operators

Choose from multiple operators, each offering a different way to approach the night.

Unlock new operators through progression and expand your options as you play. However, survival comes with consequences. Losing an operator means losing access to them until they are purchased again.

Choosing who to bring into a match becomes a decision that carries risk.

Traitors

Not every traitor behaves the same way.

Different traitor types feature their own combinations of abilities, encouraging different hunting strategies and creating new situations each match.

Some may focus on mobility, while others excel at controlling space, separating survivors, or putting pressure on groups trying to work together.

Learning how to respond to each traitor becomes an important part of surviving.

Maps

Every map is handcrafted and designed around its own theme, layout, and scale.

Some maps provide long sightlines and open spaces, while others force players into tighter environments where avoiding the traitor becomes far more difficult.

The lighthouse itself is never guaranteed to occupy the center of the map, forcing players to adapt their routes, strategies, and priorities depending on where they are assigned.
