Rogue Mate is a turn-based tactical roguelite built on the bones of chess, but your pieces don't stay as they are. As you fight through waves of enemies, your Pawns, Knights, Bishops, Rooks, and Queen earn upgrades, unlock special abilities, and evolve into something the board has never seen.

Build your warband your way. Spend Gold to recruit new pieces. Spend Essence to unlock permanent skill branches. No two runs play the same. Do you push your Knight down the Hexblade, or build a Rook that devastates everything in its path? The choices compound fast.

Turn-based. Strategic. Brutal. Every move matters. Enemies advance from all sides, and one bad decision can collapse your entire formation. Positioning, piece synergy, and upgrade timing separate a good run from a legendary one.

Campaign — Fight through a series of escalating boss encounters, each with their own mechanics, gimmicks, and taglines. Face Death by 1000 Cuts, outwit The Jester, survive the Shadow Lord's fog, and ultimately face the Omni King.

Endless — No finish line. How long can you hold the board?

The Gauntlet — All 10 bosses. Back to back. You will not survive.
