The Horror Occultist is a first-person psychological horror game focused on atmosphere, tension, and slow-burning dread. Set in a forgotten forest consumed by darkness, you will explore the ruins of an abandoned monastery where an ancient force was once sealed — and later awakened.

This is not a game about constant action. This is a game about fear that builds… and never leaves.

🌲 A Place That Should Not Exist

Deep within a remote forest lies a place erased from maps and memory. An old monastery, long abandoned after a catastrophic event that no one fully understands.

Years ago, monks discovered something beneath the earth. Not a ghost. Not a demon. Something far older.

They attempted to contain it using rituals, symbols, and faith.

They failed.

Time passed. The place was forgotten.

Until a cult found it.

They didn’t try to stop what was buried beneath the ruins. They came to awaken it.

The ritual went wrong.

The monastery collapsed. The forest became something else. And whatever was sealed below… is no longer sleeping.
