A turn-based puzzle game where every piece obeys a fixed rule, and they all move the moment you do.

Some step. Some charge two squares. Some cut diagonally. Some leap in L-shapes. Some move opposite to you. Some don't move at all. And one of them — the Chaser — comes after you.

Learn the rules and the board starts to make sense. With up to 16 pieces on a 6×6 grid, that doesn't make it easy.

Simple rules, real depth

The objective is always clear: reach the goal square.  Made a mistake? Undo is one keypress away. Experiment freely, backtrack without penalty, and try again. The challenge is the geometry, and the line is always there — you just haven't seen it yet.

Meet the Chaser

Most pieces are obstacles. The Chaser is different. Each turn, it steps one square toward you — horizontal or vertical, never diagonal. Catches you if it lands on you.

You can't outrun it forever on a 6×6 board. You have to outwit it: route around, lure it into a wall, block its path with another piece. The first time you meet a Chaser, you'll panic. By the end of the game, you'll be using it as a tool.

Two modes

Casual — Move one step at a time. React, learn, undo, try again. 120 levels across four difficulty tiers.

Expert — Commit your full plan before anything moves. Two to six moves at a time, all executed at once. No corrections. 71 levels across four elite tiers.

Fair by design

Every level is solver-verified — guaranteed solvable. If you can't find the line, the line is there. You just haven't seen it yet. Walls don't move but block absolutely. Mirrors move opposite to you — every direction you choose, they choose the other. The rules never change. Your understanding of them does.

Play it your way

Nothing is locked behind a streak. Jump between Casual and Expert whenever you want. Replay a level you beat weeks ago to chase a cleaner line. The board doesn't change — you do.

AfterMove runs on your PC, but any phone, tablet, or laptop on the same WiFi can control the game. Scan the in-game QR code — no app, no install, just your browser. Solve at your desk, keep going from the sofa, or pass a device to a friend. Saves live on the PC, so swapping mid-level just works. Multiple devices can connect at once.
