You are an anomaly. A single, sentient data bit trapped deep within a collapsing, corrupted memory space. The mainframe is unstable, and the system's anti-virus subroutines are hunting you down.

In DAEMON: Lost in Memory, your only chance at survival is to navigate these shattered digital sectors, manipulate the system's logic, and escape before you are permanently erased. But you aren't just surviving the system — you can rebuild it.

ONE BIT. TWO STATES.

You are a 0 or a 1, and the whole system reads you differently depending on which. Cyan barriers are solid to a 1 and empty air to a 0 — magenta is the exact opposite. Flip mid-jump to slip through walls that were never meant to open. Enemies are polarity-coded too: share their state and you die, invert it and they can't touch you.

THINK IN BINARY

Every exit is locked by a number. Scattered bit nodes carry weights — 1, 2, 4, 8 — and stamping your state onto them adds up. Match the target and the portal opens. Then the system wires itself against you with AND, OR, NOT, XOR, NAND and NOR gates, hackable terminals, timed laser grids and sectors that are actively rotting around you.

THE ANTI-VIRUS FIGHTS BACK

Phasers, Seekers, Splitters and Shields each demand a different read of the same mechanic. Deeper in, the system's guardians wake up — the Memory Warden, Stack Overflow, the Firewall Sentinel, the Rootkit Phantom and the Malware Core. Every boss is a puzzle wearing armour.

BUILD YOUR OWN SECTORS

DAEMON ships with the same editor used to build the campaign. Paint the grid, place enemies, moving platforms, lasers and terminals, wire logic gates together in link mode, tune the physics per level, then play-test in one click and land right back where you left off.

SHARE THEM WITH THE NETWORK

Publish your levels straight from the menu. Browse, download and play what everyone else has built, rate the good ones, favourite the ones worth replaying — and race the leaderboards on all of it.

INFINITE MEMORY

Out of levels? Generate more at easy, medium or hard. Every generated sector is provably beatable — the game solves it itself before handing it to you, and re-rolls if it can't be completed.
