Games Like the moon is a gun

You are the gun built into the moon. The moon orbits automatically; you aim, fire and switch weapons. Curve your shots around the planet and protect the cities below. Choose your next night. Survive its waves. Claim your reward. Pick the threats you’ll face and the equipment you’re fighting for. Survive until dawn to collect your chosen reward, strengthen your build between nights, and take on bosses along the way.

Experiment with 10+ weapons that change how you fight. Send comets into orbit, drill through the planet, or throw an axe through a crowd and catch enemies on its return. Shape your build with 100+ upgrades, abilities and power-ups. Weapon upgrades improve one gun. Loops change all of them at once. Turn kills into chain reactions, pull enemies together, freeze nearby enemies on a weapon kill, and stack effects that feed each other. Give your build an active ability: fire a planetary beam, open wormholes, rewind mistakes, or summon a second moon to repeat your attacks.

Take the harder night for the better prize. Brave heavier gravity or a shifted orbit for rarer rewards. Collect fragments during combat and spend them between nights on weapons, upgrades and repairs.

Answer calls from the people you are protecting. Make tough choices across many radio encounters, with multiple possible outcomes. A district needs a generator you could melt down for your gun. Help them and pay for it, or hold your stock for the next fight. Not every call pays off. Feeling confident? Make a deal with the Smuggler. Take on extra trouble for extra pay: fight armored enemies, protect his cargo, or bet on keeping every city alive until dawn.

Enemies latch onto the moon, hide behind rotating armor and bend your shots off course. Their combinations keep changing what needs your attention first. Bosses can tear cities from the planet or hunt the moon itself.
