Stellar Conquest is a space RPG on a 2D star map with 3D spaceship battles. You command a fleet through a galaxy split between warring factions.

Factions expand. Pirates regroup. Fleets have their own agendas. You pick your route, your contracts, your fights, but the galaxy doesn't wait for you to feel ready.

Put together a force that fits how you play. For example, fast scouts with a heavy flagship or a balanced wing that can handle most situations without specialising.

Your fleet is only as strong as the people aboard it. Hire characters from planets across the galaxy. Maybe a navigator, a veteran, an engineer. Not everyone is worth what they cost, and you usually find that out after the fact.

Forge alliances, conquer planets, expand your influence. Make the galaxy your own. But be careful, though, the more you expand, the more attention you draw.

Fleet conflicts move into full 3D space battles. You take direct control while the enemy comes with everything they have. Ships that take damage carry those wounds back to the world map. What happens in battle stays with you.
