A Dying World

The gods have left. What remains are crumbling castles, poisoned wastelands, and people too stubborn or too broken to follow them. You wake up in the middle of it with nothing.

Trail of Gods is a small action RPG, meant to be picked up for a few minutes or played for hours.

One Button. Organic Gameplay.

All combat flows from a single input. Press to block. Hold to charge. Release to strike. The length of your hold and the direction of your release determine the outcome: a quick tap blocks, a brief hold becomes a light attack, a longer hold delivers something devastating, and a fast flick sends you rolling through danger untouchable.

Block an incoming hit, then strike back immediately for a counter-attack. The window is tight. Learn it or die learning it.

Every Gram Counts

Your equipment has real weight. A full suit of knight armor protects you but turns you slow. Torn clothes and a sharp dagger leave you open but fast enough to dance around anything. Your total loadout directly changes how fast you walk, run, roll, and swing.

Heavy armor has a trick: above 5 kg, rolling into enemies deals impact damage. Your dodge becomes a weapon.

Take What You Find

There are no shops. Weapons, armor, and helms are scattered across the world: in abandoned chests, on the ground, pulled from the bodies of those who no longer need them. Six weapon classes offer different ways to fight: fists, daggers, swords, staves, katanas, and ranged weapons. Each feels different and changes how you play.

Mercenaries wander the world too. Hire them for free. They fight alongside you and they don't ask questions.
