Games Like Lumen Nexus: Core

Lumen Nexus: Core is a building and automation game in which you establish a small outpost on an asteroid world drifting through space and gradually turn it into something that actually works. Your main objective: mine, process, and sell as many resources as possible to keep your employer satisfied.

Mine raw materials, build machines, connect buildings, research new technologies, and trade with factions and other inhabitants. Little by little, you’ll create a production network that becomes slightly less disastrous over time.

At the beginning, you only have access to a handful of basic resources and simple buildings. You place mining facilities, connect individual production stages, store materials, unlock new recipes, and try to keep the entire operation running without constantly having to fix the next bottleneck.

Instead of traditional conveyor belts, Lumen Nexus: Core uses transport beams. Resources travel between your buildings as visible cubes, turning your factory into a network of glowing connections rather than an endless tangle of conveyor belts. It’ll probably still become spaghetti. Just more sci-fi.

The game world consists of islands, plateaus, craters, bodies of water, and deposits of oil and other resources. Some resources can be found nearby. Others require you to expand, plan ahead, or at least pretend you had a plan from the beginning.

As your base grows, you’ll unlock new buildings, recipes, research options, and trading relationships. Your goal is to build a functioning Nexus capable of processing resources, supporting research, managing trade, and eventually developing into a vast industrial system.

Lumen Nexus: Core is still in development. Gameplay systems, balancing, content, the user interface, and the overall game feel are being improved step by step. Feedback is always welcome – especially if something is confusing, broken, boring, or accidentally brilliant.
