The Nexus is your central intelligence and item storage. It must be defended at all costs. If your Nexus is compromised, your factory will be terminated and the run will end. Everything else is expendable. As you progress, you'll unlock new Nexus cores that change the way you play.

Every deployment feeds permanent progression: new weapons, new buildings, new upgrade cards, unique Nexus cores and modules.
