Take up the hammer of a journeyman smith, gather ingots and recipes, and forge cards in your deck by hand: choose its effects, temper its power, and inscribe it with conditions that turn simple strikes into engines.

Forge Your Own Cards

Every card starts as a mold with open slots. Slot in Casts (what it does), set its Temper (how hard it hits) and Duration (how long it lasts), then etch Inscriptions that generate and spend Flux for bonus payoffs. Found a recipe for Burn? Pair it with Damage for a unique effect.

Outsmart, Don't Outdraw

Combat is simultaneous. You see the enemy's hand — but not the order they'll play it. Arrange your three cards into positions, lock in, and watch both sides resolve in lockstep. A well-placed Block blanks their opening blow; a Vulnerable at position one supercharges everything after it. Sequencing is key.
