About The Shattered Isles

I've run over 2,000 Pathfinder 2e sessions for paying players since 2022, and D&D before that. The Shattered Isles is my dream campaign, made into a videogame: the PF2e rules but they come to life, with a party of heroes, and enemies that fight the way I'd run them in a real table. Compatible with the Pathfinder Second Edition (Remaster) ruleset, used under the ORC license. In this game, your party fights its way across a chain of islands full enemies and treasure, while supporting and building a house to gain upgrades. The upgrades include the ability buy better items, get more party member slots, craft, do downtime activities, etc. One of the upgrades might include the ability to get Free Archetype... I'm hoping to have levels 1-8 done by 1.0, with at least 8 classes to pick from.

The party

Currently, in this version, you can lead a Fighter, a Rogue, a Wizard, a Barbarian, a Cleric and a Champion, with more heroes joining in the full game. Ideally I can stuff every single class in the game if possible. TBD!

Features

•
Pathfinder 2e, by the rulebook. Three actions a turn, the multiple attack penalty, and four degrees of success. The rules work the way your table plays them. With a sprinkling of house rules as well.

Every single basic action the book. Trip, Shove, Grapple, Disarm, Feint, Demoralize, Tumble Through, Take Cover, Hide, Sneak, Seek and more, each with the rolls and results the rules give it. Each has it's own animation and special effect. Your home PF2e game come to life!

Reactions that ask first. Reactive Strike, Shield Block and Nimble Dodge pop up as a quick yes or no when they trigger, or you can set them to fire on their own. Eventually I will add a Gambit system for reactions, like in FF12.
•
Position matters. Flank to leave enemies off-guard, duck behind cover, or hide in the tall grass. Hide and Stealth rules implemented. Enemies do it, too!
•
Hand-made battlefields. Every map is laid out by hand, with tall grass to hide in, barrels and boulders to put between you and an arrow, and scenery that breaks when a fight goes through it. Multiple maps and dungeons to come!

Build your heroes. Pick each hero's feats, weapons and background on a paper-style character sheet before the fight. A robust character creator. More details soon!

Every move has weight. Every weapon has its own swing, your third attack in a turn looks tired, and moves like Vicious Swing, Twin Feint and Sneak Attack get their own effects. Spell effects galore. I'm trying to make every action be special.

Desk or couch. Play with mouse and keyboard, or grab a controller. Steam deck compatible.
