Games Like Squircle

Squircle is a totally super cool and retro arcade game. Aim your launcher, charge it up, and fire glowing shapes out across a floating grid arena; they ricochet off bumpers and pads like a golf ball (or pinball) and your job is to steer each one home into its matching hole. You'll understand it in ten seconds. Then you'll spend hours mastering it (or you'll just be great from the start... who am I to judge).

And it's two games in one: a frantic five-minute score chase and a course of handcrafted neon crazy golf; the same shapes, holes, and physics, arranged into two completely different ways to play.

Match the shape, sink to score

Every shape: circle, triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, star - has a hole made just for it. Drop the right shape into the right hole and score big; wrong shapes bounce off the rim. Each hole gravity-assists a matching shape that arrives close and slow, so a soft, well-judged shot beats a full-power blast every time - aim matters more than force. And every hole is a real well cut clean through the board, with a glowing rim and a starfield floor. Sinking a shape looks like dropping it into space.

The board is ALIVE!

The playfield isn't a backdrop (well it sort of is but let's not get into that), it's a living mass-spring grid that waves, dents, and ripples at everything that happens on it. Sink a shape and the grid dips where it landed; trigger an explosion and a shockwave rolls out across the grid. All of it floating in a slow-drifting galaxy of deep blue, purple and magenta. The neon spectacle is the feature, not the skin.

PINBALL MODE - can you get the highest score?

The core five-minute run on a freshly generated board every time. No fail state: when the timer hits zero, your score is your score.

GOLF MODE - neon crazy golf

A course of handcrafted levels, and a completely different game. All six shapes sit on the board, one of each, and you sink every one in as few strokes as you can.

Play it your way

mouse-only, mouse-and-keyboard, and keyboard-only support, (controller coming soon, hopefully before launch!), all selectable - and built from the ground up for the couch and Steam Deck as much as the desktop.
