Games Like Specter Solace

Hey there, you found my game! Specter Solace is a game inspired by Call of Duty Zombies and Retro Doom with a focus on strategic resource management. The art style was inspired, namely, by Battle Realms, a 2001 RTS game developed by Liquid Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. There are pickups hidden on every island. You as the player will need to collect these pickups to survive and progress, as enemies will become more numerous and agile as you progress through waves of enemy onslaught.  I spent 8 months developing this game with the sole purpose of completing a game project. My reasoning was that it was better to release something simple and playable rather than getting stuck trying to perfect a dream game. I also needed stakes, so I paid the $100 fee to publish an application onto Steam just to prevent myself from giving up. Despite that, this project had zero budget for assets and relied solely on free assets available across the internet.
