ABOUT THIS GAME

Skill Hiding is an asymmetric online hide-and-seek game for 2–16 players where hiding is only half the job.

One to four Hunters enter a moonlit maze of alleys, courtyards, and suspicious clutter. Hiders get a 30-second head start to study the map, prepare a trick, and disappear—but they cannot spend the whole match crouched behind a barrel.

HIDE IN PLAIN SIGHT

Copy the texture of a nearby surface, flatten yourself into a wall sticker, steal the shape of a prop, possess an NPC, reshape your body, or travel through a Hunter's shadow. A good disguise makes you hard to notice. A great disguise lets you finish the job without anyone realizing you were there.

Tasks turn every safe hiding place into a temporary luxury. Watch the patrols, choose your moment, do something painfully inconvenient, and vanish again before the Hunters understand what moved.

EVERY SKILL BREAKS A DIFFERENT RULE

Eleven Hider abilities create wildly different ways to deceive, survive, and cause trouble. Become a thunderous giant, gamble for a second life, start a deadly game of Wooden Man, summon a zombie wave, expose Hunters on radar, or hide your team inside a moving concealment field.

Hunters answer with eight supernatural powers of their own: sonar, mystical eye glyphs, permanent tracking traps, position swaps, stealth, deadly dice duels, toxic zones, and a monstrous giant form.

Every matchup creates a new mind game. Make noise on purpose. Plant a false trail. Bait out a tracking skill. Watch the other team commit to an assumption—then punish it.

Skill Hiding is built for unpredictable nights with friends. Create a friends-only Steam lobby, invite players through the Steam Overlay, and jump into matches where team sizes and Hunter counts scale with the room.

Hunters must coordinate their search and decide which clues are real. Hiders must balance stealth, survival, teamwork, and a list of ridiculous responsibilities that refuse to wait until the coast is clear. Communication and nerve matter as much as raw speed.
