You start with an axe, some seed money and a coniferous plot. Mark trees for cutting and your loggers get to work. Logs must be hauled to the warehouse, processed on the machines and driven by trucks to the customs house or dock, where goods are finally sold. Every link in that chain can be automated: chainsaws, harvesters, log trucks, inter-island barges, machine operators and haulers running the logistics.

Grow the full production chain: log → board → lumber → dried lumber → product → furniture. Unlock alternative branches — a paper mill and a charcoal plant. Build roads, generators, fuel depots and ports, take bank loans, watch a market with floating prices and grab lucrative supply contracts.

But the forest is alive. Cut too greedily and ecology drops, trees regrow slower, the island empties out. Hire foresters, plant saplings and hold the balance between profit and regrowth. Seasons change, and with them the growth rate and fuel costs. Open new zones and neighbouring islands — from deciduous groves to mountain cedars and ancient relic giants.
