Games Like Hoops GM

You're the GM. The coach works for you.

Hoops GM strips basketball management down to the decisions that actually build dynasties: scouting, the draft, trades, free agency, contracts, and the salary cap. There's no play-calling and no possession micromanagement — you build the roster, set the game plan at a high level, and live with the results.

Scouting that lies to you (a little)

Hire scouts with regional and skill specializations. Their reports come back as ranges, not answers — accuracy and bias are part of the job. Well-scouted prospects sharpen into focus; ignored ones stay a gamble.

A draft worth sweating over

Multi-round drafts with college, international, and developmental pipelines. Work the board, trade picks, and find out years later whether pick #13 was a steal or a story.

An economy with teeth

Salary cap, luxury tax and aprons, rookie scales, max deals, team options, dead money, and a board that watches your budget. Star players cost star money — pay the wrong one and you'll feel it for seasons.

Trades, free agency, rivals that bid

A trade finder that browses real packages, rival front offices that compete for your targets, and players with moods, traits, and agendas that shape the locker room.

A career, not a season

Multi-season careers with reputation, job offers, board expectations, franchise history, awards, and Hall of Fame tracking. Get fired. Get hired somewhere worse. Climb back.

Fast by design

Games resolve instantly into detailed box scores — or watch a broadcast-style 2D game view when you want to see your team play. A full season is an evening, not a month.
