Museum Anomaly

A museum with no visitors. A corridor that runs one way. The same hall at the end of it, again. A camera to look through, and two doors to choose from.

FORWARD IS THE ONLY DIRECTION

There is no going back. The corridor runs one way and you follow it and it sets you down in the same hall. Each time you arrive it should stand exactly as you left it: the same shape, the same light, the same silence. Sometimes it does not.

LOOK THROUGH THE LENS

You carry a camera. Raise it and the hall reads differently through the viewfinder and some of what the frame holds is no longer there once you lower it. It will not tell you which door to open. It only lets you see more of the hall.

OPEN THE RIGHT DOOR

The hall ends in a pair of doors. Only one of them is the way on. Read the hall, then open the one it points to. Step through and it locks behind you there is no second attempt.

TRUST WHAT YOU REMEMBER

Nothing is pointed out to you. There is no list to check against. The only measure is what you remember of the space itself.
