Skewered Up! is a roguelike deckbuilder where you try to stack ingredients in the right order and then cook to satisfy the target points of your customers.

Every few seconds the machine hands you three ingredients. You get to keep one. You slide it onto the skewer.

Pepper that scores off its neighbours. Butter that drips onto whatever sits below it. An Onion that only pays out per every vegetable on the skewer. Every Ingredient has a unique skill that interacts with other ingredients or conditions.

Then you hit the grill, and your ordering either sings or falls apart trying to reach the target point.

POSITION IS THE WHOLE GAME

Ingredients are cooked from left to right, from the closed end of the skewer to the open one. That single rule is where all the depth lives.

THE SKEWER FIGHTS BACK

This is not a tidy grid of cards. It is a metal rod with limited space and food that has opinions.

CUSTOMERS WHO WANT TOO MUCH

Each customer sets a target score for that round, plus two higher thresholds that pay extra if you get greedy and clear them.

They also bring rules and effects. Meat scores at half value today. The skewer is shorter today. You only get two choices instead of three, and the ingredients are all oversized.

And they make requests. End the kebab on something spicy. Use no more than three distinct ingredients. Drop one on the floor on purpose. Meet them and the money comes in — which is the only reason you get a better deck.

COME BACK BETTER

Every run ends with a full breakdown — how long you lasted, your most-used ingredient, your single biggest round.

Then you unlock things. New ingredients enter the pool. New power-ups. New starter decks with completely different opening identities. New difficulties that raise the score requirements, stack harsher customer conditions, and add more customers to survive.

The first run teaches you the rules. The fortieth teaches you what they're actually for.
