HYPERSCALE is an idle data centre builder where the servers were never the hard part. Alone in a shed on somebody's back paddock, your job is to turn one rack into a campus that lights up the horizon. Ten sites stand between you and hyperscale. Can you keep the lights on?

MIND THE FREQUENCY

Fifty Hertz or Nothing: Supply and demand have to match every second of every day. Build compute faster than you build generation and frequency sags, and the grid starts dropping your racks to save itself. Get it wrong badly enough and it takes the whole site with it.

Nothing Runs Without It!

Click to dispatch: and get the megawatts up. Grid, diesel, solar, wind, batteries, and eventually things that need their own fence (think nuclear!). Every brown option of them is cheap and hated (but so fast), or dear and tolerated green options (better for skippy). Pick your poison.

RUN THE COMPUTE

Feed the Machine: Racks make the money, but only the ones you can actually power. Run out of headroom and the rest sit there in the dark costing you. Oh, and then they get hot, and cooling starts eating the power you just built. Just one big balancing act
