THE SISTERS AND THE FACILITY

Everdawn was built to hold monsters, and to take them apart. It kept faeries and their courts captive for years. Experimenting on them for as long as their frail little bodies could hold.

One day, something in the lowest levels went very, very wrong. The soldiers sent down never came back up. The floors began to trade places. Things started growing in the halls. Warm, restless, terribly hungry things.

Ellowyn got out. A winter fae, small, winged, precise. An older sister first and guardian second, she has spent her whole life keeping people safe, putting herself in danger so the others could fly carefree. She is down to only one faery.

Asyn, her sister, fights at her side in a stolen body. She is loud where Ellowyn is quiet, the first through every door, facing every fight with a cheerful smile. They are terrified of losing each other, and they have opposite strategies for preventing it.

Together they go back down into the dark labyrinth that kept their family, looking for whoever might still be alive, and for the truth of what was done to them.
