Open the box. Hope for the secret. Secret Shelf is a first-person shop management game. You run a small collectible figure shop that sells blind boxes. Every box hides one figure from its series, and somewhere in every series sleeps a secret. Selling sealed boxes is safe money. Opening one means betting against your own stock.

Open the boxes
•Shake the box and listen: light, jingly or heavy. The hint tells the truth three times out of four.
•Tear the strip. The light spilling out of the box takes the colour of the rarity before you see a thing.
•Common, rare, epic, legendary: the rarer it is, the harder the whole shop holds its breath.
•Pearlescent, iridescent or metallic finishes multiply what a figure is worth.

Hunt the secret
•Every series hides its own secret figure.
•When it comes out, the whole shop turns around and claps. Confetti.
•Keep your best pulls in your binder and your personal display, or get them graded from 1 to 10.
•290 figures across 32 series: fern spirits, a Skeleton Orchestra, capybaras at the Capy Spa, and giant boxes with the Titans of the Deep, the Legendary Beasts and the Mecha Giants.

Run the shop
•Order your cartons on the PC, unpack them and fill the shelves box by box.
•Set your prices against a market value that shifts a little every day.
•Serve the queue at the till, then hire help: a cashier, a restocker, a self-checkout.
•Happy customers become regulars, with their favourite series and five hearts of loyalty.
•Every evening, the day's report tells you what the shop brought in.

Make it grow
•Push the walls back: from a small, nearly empty shop to the packed shop of the late game.
•Put every piece of furniture wherever you like from the PC's Layout app, and change walls and floors with Paint & floor.
•Open the Collector's Loft above the stockroom.
•Renovate the shopfront: thirteen prestige works, from the gold awning to the bronze statues.
•Limited editions on pre-order with a queue at the door, a capsule machine, trades with Mina, and a cat wandering around the shop.
•Halloween, Christmas, Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day follow your calendar, each with its own series and window display.

Play together
•Invite up to three friends into your shop, online through Steam.
•One works the till, another fills the shelves.
•When someone pulls a secret, everyone hears it, wherever they are.
•Or play solo, at your own pace.

The hall across the street
•Cross the street: the game hall waits with four kinds of slot machines, roulette, blackjack, the big wheel, dice, plinko and scratch tickets.
•Every game shows its odds, and they are the real ones.
•You bet your shop's money, and only that. Stakes are capped every day, and the money for your bills stays aside.
•Everything is played with in-game money: no real money, nothing to buy.

Also: a photo mode, 31 Steam achievements, Steam Cloud saves, and four game modes (Sandbox, Small budget, One series, No staff). Shoplifters can be turned off in the settings.
