Terran Chronicles: 4200 takes the part most RPGs rush through and makes it the whole first act — and for some players, the whole game. Built on the classic lifepath systems of golden-age tabletop sci-fi RPGs, you don't pick a class and a backstory — you generate one, term by term. Qualify for a career. Survive its dangers. Earn its medals or wash out in disgrace. Every attribute, skill and scar your character walks out with is a piece of their story, not a choice optimised from a menu.

Coreward, an alien people who built their entire faith around receiving truth rather than asserting it hold an honorary seat in a government that has never quite decided what to do with them. Rimward, a generations-long border war grinds on — chronic rather than climactic, the type of war that shapes careers and consumes lives while it slowly corrupts even the best of ideals.

And in between, countless billions of ordinary people go on building the galaxy they want to live in — or the one they'll have to.
