About Dungeon: Build Unbound

Let your build run wild

Dungeon: Build Unbound is an action roguelite built around dense hordes of monsters and the freedom to shape your own build. Items here do more than make the numbers bigger. They change the very shape of your attacks, then chain together with other effects.

Turn an ordinary bullet into a massive barrage “Right-Angle Split” keeps bullets splitting, “Giant Warhead” makes some of them swell and burst, and “Piercing Growth” makes each bullet faster and stronger with every enemy it pierces—and can even make it grow bigger and bigger.

Turn a single laser beam into an entire sword array “Companion Mirror” can copy lasers fired by your weapon, while “Laser Slash” lets laser hits trigger melee slashes in turn. What starts as a single beam can become multiple lasers sweeping through a horde with a mass of swordmarks in their wake.

Make movement itself an attack Slashes, mines, afterimages and other effects can all trigger as you move. Wherever you go, you leave slashes, explosions and attacks that repeat after a delay.

Fight your way from dozens of enemies to battlefields with a thousand As you progress, enemy numbers and strength keep rising, and the pressure from new spawns keeps mounting. With a strong enough build, clearing scattered enemies gradually gives way to all-out exchanges of fire with massive hordes.

Three regions, boss fights and Endless mode Make your way through a regular dungeon, a toxic swamp and a furnace, facing bosses with different attack mechanics. Once you finish the main campaign, you can carry on into an ever-escalating Endless mode and keep building on the same run.

Local co-op for up to 4 players on the same screen Each player can choose their own weapons, items and stats. One builds for melee, another fills the battlefield with lasers, another unleashes a barrage of bullets—until four different builds are running wild on the same battlefield.

Normal → Enhanced → Extreme → Overpowered

You can keep upgrading the same item. Higher levels bring more than bigger numbers. They can add new splits, new ways to trigger effects, larger attack areas, or even change the way you play altogether. You might start a run with nothing more than an ordinary weapon. What kind of monstrosity it becomes before the run is over depends on how you build.
