Linya, a young bounty hunter, encounters a strange, otherworldly infant at a ruined shrine while the child is being pursued by a mysterious cult. Unable to simply walk away, she takes the infant along on her journey—and in doing so, begins a story about a "family" she never intended to have.

The game’s defining feature is that the infant, Coco, is always present on the battlefield as a party member who cannot be directly controlled. Instead of simply growing stronger, the player expands the range within which they can shield the child. What is gained by successfully protecting the infant from danger is not a powerful attack, but rather the child's trust and a deepening bond.

A surrogate family forged not by blood, but by standing together through life’s trials. A bounty hunter who trusts no one; a blind swordsman cast out of his organization for his unwavering sense of justice; the embodiment of a wolf that lost its pack.
