You arrive on an unforgiving plain with nothing. Make fire, find food, survive the night. The seasons turn and legends come for you. Only the one who endures earns a name — Gael, priestess of this land.

About Soul Monsters: Gael's Survival

You start with nothing. No tools, no fire, nowhere to go. If you cannot make an axe and light a fire before the first sunset, the dark will not wait for you. A day runs day → dusk → night. When the sun tilts, the world goes quiet first — animals go home and the screen dims. That is your signal to run back. Without fire at night, you last only seconds. Seasons change the pressure. Spring soaks you, summer spreads wildfire, autumn brings the invasion, winter buries you in snow. On the last nights of a season a legendary boss comes — Gaiadon, Noehwang, GreenKing, Pyro. There is a world under the ground and across the sea. Dig down with a pickaxe into a cave that is always dark: three times the silver ore, and mushrooms. Lash a raft and sail to outer islands you can never reach on foot, and to tuna in the deep. 76 monsters, 4 seasons, 19 buildings. The map shows only where you have walked. What you build and where you settle is entirely yours. And at the end, a name. Survive 28 days and three invasions, and Gael becomes the ruler of this plain. That name carries into another story.
