Pay Your Deeds is a roguelike deck-builder played on a 5×4 slot reel.

You are in debt, and every few days the Sector expects another payment.

Spin the reel, collect Scrap Credits and add new Symbols to your build. Find combinations that work together, remove the ones that don't, and try to make enough money before your next Deed is due.

If you can't pay, the run is over.

BUILD YOUR REEL

Your reel starts simple.

During a run you'll add Symbols, remove bad ones and slowly turn your build into something that can keep up with the increasing payments.

Symbols can generate resources, multiply values, consume other Symbols, destroy them, transform them or trigger effects from other parts of your reel.

A good build isn't about collecting every strong Symbol you find. Sometimes adding one more thing is exactly what ruins it.

WHAT'S IN THE GAME

EVERY RUN GOES SOMEWHERE DIFFERENT

You might start with a few Medical Symbols and end up building around Rot.

You might turn Tools into a Tech engine, use Hazards as fuel, or build something around Animals, Trade, Power, Arsenal or Salvage.

The archetypes aren't classes. They are pieces you can mix together depending on what the run gives you.

The strongest Symbol isn't always the one your build needs.

THE SECTOR

The entire game takes place inside Sector XP, a decaying early-2000s operating system.

Your Deeds, mail, contracts, upgrades, faction messages and run records all exist inside the same machine.

It isn't just a menu between runs. It's where the game lives.
