Latent Space Research Corporation successfuly found a way to open rifts to the backrooms. You as an employee have given the task of mapping the backrooms. Your company will provide you resources. But you have to consistently show your effort for the job.

No two sections are the same. The Backrooms expand beyond your range of comprehension. New rooms, new rules, and an entirely new map every time you step through. Record your route with a company-issued handcam, process the cassette back at the base, and watch the map reveal, room by room.

BRING A TEAM

Exploring alone can be relaxing, but having crewmates to share the workload with is a completely different experience. Split the workload: someone holds the rift device, someone reads the map, someone keeps the camera rolling.

The Backrooms hold more than empty rooms and hallways. Objects nobody has bothered to explain are scattered throughout every section, recover what you can and bring it back to base. The company always finds a use for it.
